Messaging between friends is free in both directions. Performer-to-performer is always free. If a non-friend wants to message a performer, they pay per message: $1 for text, $3 for a photo, $5 for a video (these are the defaults -- performers can set custom prices in Settings). Performers can also grant free messaging to specific fans.
All shows every conversation. Unread filters to unread messages. Saved shows conversations you bookmarked. Favorites shows starred conversations. New shows conversations started in the last 24 hours. Online shows users currently active. Q&A shows fan questions (ask.fm style).
The Mass Message button lets you send a single message to multiple fans at once -- great for announcements, promotions, or PPV content drops. Select recipients by subscriber tier, recent activity, or all fans. Mass messages appear as individual DMs to each recipient.
Use the PPV attachment button to send locked content in a message. The fan sees a blurred preview and must pay to unlock. Great for exclusive content that is too personal for the public feed. Revenue appears in your Financial Hub.
If you are migrating from another platform (OnlyFans, SextPanther, etc.), you can import your chat history so you do not lose past conversations. Go to Settings > Data Import to upload your exported chat files. Imported messages keep their original dates.
Fans can pay to ask you questions ($2 default, configurable in Settings or set to free). You choose to answer publicly (visible on your profile) or privately (only the asker sees it). Q&A is separate from regular messaging conversations.
Click the Timed button in the composer to set a self-destruct timer on any message. Choose from 30 seconds to 30 days. When the timer expires, the message is removed from the conversation and moved to your Timed History tab. Both sender and recipient see a countdown indicator on timed messages. Timed History keeps a record of all expired timed messages with their full metadata (when created, when sent, how long visible, when expired).
Long-press or right-click a conversation to archive it. Archived conversations are hidden from your main inbox but not deleted. Use the Archive filter to access them. Unarchive anytime to restore them to your inbox. Archive is for conversations you want to keep but not see every day.
Every message tracks its full lifecycle: when it was created, when it was sent/delivered, when it was read, and what happened to it (archived, expired, deleted). Tap any message to see its metadata. This is useful for tracking PPV unlock times, timed message windows, and delivery confirmation.
Right-click or long-press a conversation to Save it (bookmarks it for easy access) or Favorite it (stars it). Use the Saved and Favorites filters to find them quickly. This is useful for ongoing conversations with important clients or collaborators.
